20th Anniversary of Hubble Telescope Launch
The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit by the space shuttle in April 1990. It is named after the American astronomer Edwin Hubble. Hubble is one of the largest and most versatile, and is well-known as both a vital research tool and a public relations boon for astronomy. The HST is a collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency, and is one of NASA’s Great Observatories, along with the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, the Chandra X-ray Observatory, and the Spitzer Space Telescope.

Blackberry
BlackBerry is a line of mobile e-mail and smartphone devices developed by Canadian company named Research In Motion (RIM). While including typical smartphone applications (address book, calendar, to-do lists, etc, as well as telephone capabilities on newer models), the BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive Internet e-mail wherever it can access a mobile network of certain cellular phone carriers. Re-election (General Election 2010- Sri Lanka)
The re-election for 37 polling centres at Nawalapitiya and Kumburupiddi polling Division will be held from 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. today.
Results of 20 Districts have already been released. However, the final result was withheld as a re-poll was announced for the Nawalapitiya electorate and the Kumburupiddi polling booth due to malpractices.
According to the results issued so far, the United Peoples Freedom Alliance has won 117 seats.
