20th Anniversary of Hubble Telescope Launch

The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit by the space shuttle in April 1990. It is named after the American astronomer Edwin Hubble. Re-election (General Election 2010- Sri Lanka)

The re-election for 37 polling centres at Nawalapitiya and Kumburupiddi polling Division will be held from 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. today.

Results of 20 Districts have already been released. However, the final result was withheld as a re-poll was announced for the Nawalapitiya electorate and the Kumburupiddi polling booth due to malpractices.

According to the results issued so far, the United Peoples Freedom Alliance has won 117 seats.
